Closed Loop
Policy Piggotts are proud to offer environmentally friendly branding and are helping to reduce waste within the events and branding industry. The process is as follows:
• Design - Our internal studio will design to your specification.
• Produce - Our manufacturing process for eco-friendly products uses water based inks and prints onto recyclable Polyester.
• Finish - Our internal finishing house will sew and finish products to your specification.
• Use - The product is delivered and used until it reaches it's end of life.
• Return - Please don't throw out! Send the product back to us for recycling (or we can arrange to uplift, a small fee may apply).
• Shred - All Polyester and PVC products are compressed and shredded at end of life.
• Recycle - All shredded items are taken back into the manufacturing process.
• Re-use - This is then used in lower grade products (eg transit and airline blankets).

Processes
Innovation is at the front of our policy and the continual development of new techniques and processes enable us to stay at the top of the field. Our new manufacturing techniques are helped by our state-of-the-art ColorBooster technology.
Color Booster Print Machine "The ColorBooster is a wide 8-color digital production printer, a versatile printer for indoor and outdoor articles such as flags, banners and high-quality promotion prints, home decor articles, swim wear, active wear and articles of fashion."
Thanks to a unique combination of different techniques, penetration both for flags or banners and for silk articles can be optimally set, making the ColorBooster ideally suited for printing textile materials that require a high degree of penetration.
The ColorBooster's completely new developed zero-play substrate transport system is optimized for digitally printing on a diversity of textile materials. Thanks to the adjustable cloth tension, automatic transverse substrate correction and the compensation rollers, both dimensionally stable and dimensionally unstable materials can be printed easily and without problems. Cloth tension can be set per substrate type and is maintained during printing.
An environmentally friendly printing system, using waterbased inks and printing onto recyclable knitted polyester. Even the machine (made from millfinish stainless steel) is recyclable at end of life."
We are pleased to endorse such technology since it is the reason we can produce such high quality products for our clients. If you would like more information on our manufacturing processes, please feel free to contact us.
