Piggotts have been designing and installing Christmas lighting, occasional lighting and street decorations since the Victorian age.
Our company’s most celebrated exhibition of Christmas street lighting are the world famous London West End Christmas lights, Piggotts’ responsibility since their inception in 1954.
In this environmentally conscious society, our company recognises the importance of sustaining the environment and operating in a manner that is ecologically sound. As a result, we are now entering our 2nd year in the Carbon Trading programme, contributing towards global efforts to reduce global warming.
We were the first decorative lighting designer, manufacturer and supplier, in the UK, to offer all of their clients the service of a business carbon calculator, a programme we are still very much committed to and a priority as part of our ongoing, environmentally conscious, business plan.
Teaming up with PURE - The Clean Planet Trust, we at Piggotts – heralded as the forerunner for illuminating streets, towns and cities – have once again proved to be innovators in the decorative lighting sector.
It has been Piggotts’ tradition to provide a tailor made decorations service to all clients, going further than most to design and create the most imaginative forms of Christmas lighting and Christmas decorations.
Providing a service to include carbon footprint calculations for any project – either on the scale of London’s Oxford Street Christmas lights, or for a single shop front display – is an asset to business as well as the environment.
