Flag Fixings
The standard method of attaching the flag to the halyard line of the flag mast is rope and toggle. All of our flags are supplied with this fixing unless otherwise specified. For those customers who prefer it, the Inglefield clip provides an alternative method of fixing.
Heading, Line and Toggle
This is the standard type of fitting for a flag and can be used on a flagstaff with a normal halyard system.
Inglefield clips
This fitting is used in lieu of a heading, line and toggle and can only be used on a that has a second pair of clips attached to its halyard system. They are normally used on naval establishments.
Eyelet
Eyelets can be fitted to the top and bottom of the heading. They are an ideal fitting when a flag is not going to be flown on a flagstaff, for example to hang from a balcony or window using cable tie wraps. We would not recommend eyelets as normal everyday fitting.
